Mission Objectives

IT London is an industry-led, Information Technology focussed, community-wide advisory council with representation from companies and organizations in the IT industry in London.

To help create, promote and sustain an IT environment that enables London to attract and retain world-class IT companies and people.

Unite all of the organizations and initiatives that are currently active in the IT sector in London.

Advise the LEDC and the Chamber on issues, needs and concerns of the industry so that these business organizations can assist the industry in a meaningful way.

Advise on initiatives that will attract new firms to London and assist with the growth of firms that are currently operating in the City of London.

Address issues related to venture capital.

Raise the profile of the local IT industry.

Advocate on behalf of the industry.

Monitor the curricula at institutions of higher learning to ensure they are relevant to the rapidly changing needs of industry, and step forward if gaps are identified.

Set programs in place to capture London-trained IT graduates.

Explore and develop community-wide sectoral initiatives in skilled labour attraction/retention programs.

Develop a comprehensive program for nurturing start-up companies.

Identify skilled labour shortages and steps to alleviate them.
