Information Technology

London is fast becoming one of Ontario’s hot-spots for information technology. Known as Canada’s “Best Connected City”, London’s $250 million telecommunication infrastructure has supported the local Information Technology sector with speed and connectivity that matches major metropolitan areas in Canada and the U.S.

London is home to approximately 20 registered private Vocational Schools. Several of these schools focus exclusively on IT training, providing intensive instruction in a relatively short period of time.

“Among other benefits, London offers a remarkable cost advantage for technology businesses. Even when the rest of the world was screaming about a shortage of skilled IT talent, London was an environment where great talent was both available and cost significantly less than both Toronto and certainly the United States.”
